Perhaps tommyp does not follow politics, and is unaware that there is an election going on, and has been for about a year, which is good, because the actual voting is only 10 months away. There is stuff to vote on that is not on the internet.
But in all seriousness (not that the president of the US is not serious) there have been insurmountable obstacles of late. See, work has been busier, but more importantly, my neighbors wireless network has been down. We have spoken, and he will get it up and running again soon. In related news, I got a free access point a few days ago which I can hook up as a repeater to get an even better signal throughout my house, hopefully strong enough to get online with my Wii. Which could then again cause a slowness to the posts here at badanswer.
But in any event, I will be starting the new season again, consider the previous post to have been a pilot. So, on Monday get ready to vote for science, and if you are in one of the 20 states participating in "Super Tuesday" you can vote then as well. I recommend Ron Paul.

We're going to have to change the name of this site to "Answers to all questions", seeing as Badanswer has branched out from science to politics. Even in a seemingly bland yet long-awaited announcement post, we are treated with a bad answer to a common political question. Is this a sign of things to come?

This post you have commented on was not to answer a question, but to validate a comment by a long time contributer, tommyp.
My foray into politics was meant as an effort to illustrate that tommyp's apparent need to vote could be culled by means other than this website. My recommendation was only to provide a starting point to discussion, as I try to do with the voting on site. Had politics been the focus of the post I would have elaborated on my position more. In a separate conversation, it was said that a vote for Ron Paul was just throwing my vote away, as he will never get the nomination. But the simple fact is the state I am registered in is such that Mitt Romney is pulling almost 85%, and will probably win the state in the general election even if he is not the nomination and is dead at the time the voting takes place.
But enough of that politics, go vote on the new fight now up on the main page.
